How JBG Deutschland GmbH has successfully increased the operational safety of refrigerated cabinets – honest customer feedback after several joint projects
It all started at the Euroshop2020 trade fair: there we met Philipp Drass, at that time authorised signatory and CTO of JBG Deutschland GmbH. We were able to demonstrate him and other employees how the operational reliability of refrigerated cabinets can be significantly improved by retrofitting our molecular filters.
Due to the clear advantages and possibilities for improvement, we agreed on a joint model project together with EDEKA in 2020. Despite the special challenges of this year, we were able to start this project promptly. The results spoke for themselves and therefore further projects and a successful partnership followed.
Philipp Drass explains exactly how it all went down in the following video. Please select English subtitles. This video is in German.

Ice and snow formation is the first sign of unfavourable operational conditions and compromises the operational safety of refrigerated cabinets. Excess moisture places a heavy load on the technology, leads to a deteriorated presentation of goods and ultimately to turnover losses.
After the installation, many previously existing problems dissolved. Downtimes and associated service calls have been significantly reduced or completely prevented. For retailers, the continuous operation of the refrigeration technology is the most important thing for smooth sales.
